2 Fun-Filled Pre-Wedding Activities For You

Wednesday, April 22nd, 2009

Since the wedding party has gobs of stuff to do on Friday, the day before the wedding, we decided that Thursday would be a great day to plan some fun activities.  If you’re in town, we’d love you to join us!

830am - 3pm: Snorkeling and Dolphins

Molokini Crater is one of the best places to snorkel in the world, with beautiful coral and tons of tropical fish.  Plus wild dolphins frequent these areas.  Come out to snorkel, hang out with the dolphins, and learn about these beatiful creatures.  Pacific Whale Foundation provides Eco-Adventures to do just this.  Hoss and I have booked the Molokini-Lana’i Snorkel & Wild Dolphin tour departing out of Ma’alaea.  Come join us for a day of fun in the sun!

545pm-845pm: Old Lahaina Luau

When in Hawai’i, go to a Luau!  The Old Lahaina Luau is touted to be the best, most traditional luau on the island.  A caveat though…there is no firedancing at this luau, so don’t go to this one if that’s what you want. They’re all about the history of the hula and firedancing technically isn’t a Hawaiian tradition.  If you’re interested in joining the party, call up Old Lahaina 1-800-248-5828 and reference the Ng/Hostetter party.  We have seats blocked for us so that we can all sit together: Confirmation # 649213.  Any seats not reserved by 4/30/09 will be released to the general public, so decide quickly!

Planning Your Visit

Monday, April 6th, 2009

In just over a month, we’ll be seeing you all at our big day in Maui. We’re sure you in the midst of planning your vacationing activities just as we are.  We’ve always been a fan of Lonely Planet guide books. They’ve got a Hawaii book and a Maui book, as well as online Maui information.  We’ve also just stumbled across the Best of Maui website which has great stuff listed for entertainment, dining, and even farmer’s markets. Check it out!

See you all soon!
