One of the downsides of living 3000 miles apart and being the responsible, mature, grownup professional people that we are, is that we have a lot of stuff … I mean a LOT of stuff: two knife blocks, two TVs, two kitchen tables, two rice cookers, two blenders, two microwaves, three vacuum cleaners (Why does Hoss own two vacuum cleaners? he never vacuums!), two sets of towels, two sets of dishes, two sets of sheets, and a partridge in a pear tree.

We don’t really need more stuff. We don’t really want more stuff.

What we want is for the people we love to be at our wedding and to enjoy themselves in a tropical paradise. So instead of spending your hard earned money to give us more stuff, please use that money to help offset the cost of plane tickets and hotel reservations to attend the wedding. (BTW: We’re really sorry about scheduling our wedding in such a horrific economic climate — we’ll try not to do that again).
